Eric Ludy -- The Gospel

I was so moved today watching this video presentation from Eric Ludy that I wanted to post here and I've now added to our web site's Contact page. If you are a Christian who has experienced the new birth, this should give you some real encouragement. If you've never placed your faith in Christ for forgiveness of sins, it is my prayer that the Holy Spirt will speak to your heart and move you to repentance.

Reviving Witchcraft

In case you haven't noticed, an increase in occult practices has exploded in our culture today. From the Harry Potter series on wizardry to the paranormal investigative teams on cable T.V., this cultural phenomenon is growing with no sign of it soon fading away. Sadly, this cultural phenomenon is creeping into the professing church. When a youth pastor encourages his teens to watch the Potter movies and not be "alarmed in his spirit", something is wrong. The church in America today is asleep and who is going to awaken her from her slumber? Its time for Christians to stop being conformed to our culture and start being transformed by the renewing of their minds. It's time for Christians to be heralds and sound the alarm, rebuke the enemy and share the gospel of  Jesus Christ. There are millions going to hell every day. Doesn't that alarm you?

Some Thoughts From Vacation

I had an enjoyable week with my family vacationing in Orlando, Florida. It was the first family vacation we had together in 10 years. We left Warminster on Sunday, June 26 at 4AM. We drove to the town of Walterboro, S.C to rest for the night. After praying over the phone with Joe, I had a disturbing feeling about this town. After a restless night of sleep, I went to lobby of the motel for some coffee and cereal. Since I had my laptop with me, I googled the town and found many ghost stories reported in Walterboro. It's amazing to me just how much this cultural phenomena has grown.

Tomorrow, I will share how subtle the occultic theme has permeated the theme parks at Universal Studios in Orlando.

Merry Christmas

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given....... For generations Christmas has been a day for giving and receiving gifts. Over 2,000 years ago, God's ultimate gift to humanity was given that first Christmas morning in the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem. Over 300 Old Testament prophecies were fulfilled by the LORD Jesus.

A Busy Weekend

Answers For The Paranormal had a very busy weekend. Joe and I are amazed at what God is doing with our ministry. When we started our ministry we envisioned a ministry that we would have involvement on a part time basis. But as He often does, God had other plans. Part of that plan has been the development of an extension of our ministry, BlogTalk Radio. It's this vehicle of streaming internet radio that has afforded us the opportunity of reaching people groups with the gospel without leaving our home; Simply amazing how God works!

Our statistics show that we have reached the U.S., Canada, U.K., Italy, Germany, Argentina, Iran, Russia, Ireland, Taiwan, South Africa and the Philippines with the gospel of Jesus Christ. If Joe and I lived to be 100 years old, we could never reach that many countries. God is able to do more than we could ever imagine. I'm reminded what Jesus said to His disciples that "they would do greater things than these." John 14:12

God has also brought to us people who have struggled with demonic attacks. To actually talk with someone who is terrified and at their wits end and to give them hope and peace through the gospel is just beyond words of expression.

Friday night on BlogTalk Radio we interviewed Bill Nugent of Overcomer Ministries about UFO. Bill writes apologetic internet articles that he sends out by email to people who have opted in on his web page. We were truly blessed to have Bill for two shows and learned much about who he is and his ministry and how God has gifted him. Anyone who listened live or will access the podcasts will get a clear message of the gospel and a wealth of information from the scientific community concerning UFO and how some scientists now believe UFO are from a different dimension rather than other planets. As Christians, we understand this different dimension to be the spiritual realm where angels dwell. And as Christians, we understand that these angels comprise a group that worships God and are ministering spirits. And a group of angels who gave up their first estate by following Satan and rebelled against God.

On Saturday night, Joe and I had the privilege to be interviewed on The Other Side Of Life hosted by Elliot Adams. Elliot is a brother in Christ and was most gracious in inviting us to talk about our ministry and the broad subject of Spiritual warfare.

On Sunday night Answers For The Paranormal welcomed back our friend Connie Huft whom Joe and I met over the internet. Connie is a Christian author and speaker and has been interviewed extensively over the internet and cable television on the subject of the paranormal having been a victim herself of demonic attack. She is the author of "Know Thine Enemy--- A Guide To Intelligent Deception" and brings a style of speaking that is "down home." During our show, we had an encounter with a caller who was part American Indian and was very anti-Christian. We pray that Thomas makes a contact with us so we can share the gospel with him. Connie put it this way regarding the American Indian culture in an email to me:

I sincerely hope Thomas emails, he represents so many people seeking truth and getting led astray because they don't know how to test the spirits.  I live in Blackfeet country, I have many Indian friends and know why they feel the way they do.  My husband and I were talking about it last night, the Native Americans were quite literally "cut off from the Lord", and wiped out because of their idol worship and pagan practices.  The remnant that remains of the Indians are plagued with the curse of poverty, alcoholism, and drug abuse.  Its been generations now, and they still cannot escape the judgement of God for their fathers' actions.  Many in the Indian community try to break through to them and tell them to repent and turn back to God, but they continue to mix Christianity with tribal rituals.  You cannot sup with the Devil and God.  Much of the land out here has been cursed by Shamans, when the whites took over, and we still deal with those demonic spirits out west.
